- Diana Bauhof -
2008 Scholarship Winner
Born in Tampa, Florida, Diana was
destined to be a Gator! With both of her parents being Gator alumni, moving to
Houston, Texas did little to break to ties to the University of Florida. She
was homeschooled and graduated from high school in 2006 at the age of 15 with
an A average. Because of her age, she decided to spend two years at a community
college before going to UF. She transferred to University of Florida’s
Warrington College of Business in the summer of 2008 with a 4.0 GPA.
Diana grew up in Houston and was involved in several community service projects
including volunteering with the Red Cross and local ministries for children.
She spent most of her weekends at Gospel Lakes, a Christian camp for inner city
children. She also has been involved in professional theater.
Since getting to UF, Diana has become a member of Fellowship of Christian
Athletes and Florida Women in Business. Diana is pursuing a Marketing degree at
Florida and will be interning at a Houston marketing company this summer and is
set to graduate in May 2010.
